Our Youth Ministry works toward helping our teens begin a life-long process of growing in the 5 basic Christion funcions: evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship and worship. Our youth ministry includes grades 7 - 12.
We are leading our youth to serve their church, to be confident in their salvation and to practice daily disciplines of personal devotions. Part of our vision is to lead them to consistently live a Christian life and to see them cheerfully serving others. Our youth serve at the Stowe Center in Columbus and help out with local community ministries.
Some youth ministry events include bowling, Christian music concerts, all night fellowships, True Love Waits, graduation recognition, summer camp, fall festival and a winter retreat. Check out the slideshow!
Sunday morning Bible Study groups meet for a time of fellowship and encourgement as well as Bible teaching. These studies are divided by older and younger youth age groups and provide an outstanding interactive and in depth study of the Word with practical applications.
Wednesday night is a time for students grades 7 - 12 to celebrate and learn what it means to live for God in our world. Games, skits and videos are included in this time of encouragement and learning. Once a month, the youth provide a church wide meal, which raises funds for summer camp.
