We provide a full range of ministries and activities for preschoolers and children. We do not treat our children as the church of the future, but as the church of today. This ministry meets the needs of kids spiritually, biblically and recreationally. We also teach them to reach out beyond the church walls and participate in mission projects in our community. We provide special events for our kids like Junior Jam at Cedarville College (a one day retreat of fun, recreation and Bible insturction). We also offer summer camp for kids grades 3-6 at Seneca Lake Baptist Assembly every year.
Sunday Mornings Bible Study
Interactive and exciting Bible studies are provided each week for all of our preschoolers and school aged children. In these activities we work to provide a safe and secure learning environment. All of our workers and volunteers are required to complete training and background screening. Your children are important to us!
Sunday Morning Children's Worship
Children's worship is divided into 2 groups: preschool - kindergarten and grades 1 - 3. Both classes use Lifeway's Worhip KidStyle curriculum. The children are dismissed during worship, before the Pastor's sermon and go to their classrooms. Let kids worship...like kids! That's what Worship KidSytle is all about. Fun music videos with motions lift hearts and hands to God. Cool arts and crafts bring focus on the Creator. Attention-holding, life application videos tell stories kids can relate to.
Wednesday Nights
Backpack Missions is an easy, exciting and effective class that teaches missions, community service and Bible stories to our preschoolers. It is comprised of simple mission object lessons presented by world trekking backpack character "Backpack Andy".
Christ Followers
A series of studies based on the book of Acts, which teaches outreach and missions based on the example of Jesus Christ. It features modern day mission stories, Bible stories and opportunities for children to be involved in outreach service to our local community.
